在中国最有实战性的功夫中,白猿通背拳的“抹袖”技巧是其精髓的一部分。这个前八手中的最后一手,通过大、中、小架三种练法和定步、活步两种训练方式,以及刚、柔、化三种劲路的融合,展现出一种独特而强大的武术风格。
一、开门势
面向南方站立,双脚分开90度静立片刻(图1)。待心静神凝,然后双掌自体侧向上托起至头前上方,如抱篮球,然后向下按至腹前,同时身体下蹲(图2)。
左转90度面东方,左脚迈一步脚尖向前。两脚距离随桩步高低而定,以自然为准。同时双手左前右后由腹前向上穿出,左手高与面同高,右手在左肘内侧双肘下垂弯曲约150—170度(图3)。
双掌内转成侧立掌久久站立为桩功左右皆然。不论何势皆以此为始故名开门势(图4)。
二、定步练习
接左开门势身体左转带动右手掌心向下由后外往前划平圆至身前略高于脐;同时左手由前的方向划至右腕上掌心朝上(图5)。
上动不停身体右转带动右掌收至肋侧,同时左掌从正面的方向踏击经小臂及反弹回之时使Right palm behind the left elbow move outwards to strike downwards, and simultaneously left palm moves forward to strike upwards towards right wrist (Figure 6). This is the Left Turning Technique, followed by the Right Turning Technique.
Three, Straight Line Progression Exercise
Start with the same opening movement as before.
After performing the left opening movement, step forward with your right foot and turn your body slightly to the left while bringing your right hand down from above towards your abdomen with your palm facing down and then back up again; at this time, push off from it (Figure 9).
As you continue moving forward without stopping, step forward with your left foot while turning your body slightly to the right and bringing up both hands in a circular motion around each other (Figure 10).
Four, Eight Trigrams Circle Step Exercise
Stand in a circle approximately eight steps in diameter at its center for a moment until you are still standing there; then lift both arms upward on either side of you so that they form an arc over head like holding onto something large enough to encircle them; finally lower them back down until they are held horizontally across my chest as if I were about to place them against my forehead (Figure 11).
Turn about 90 degrees clockwise using my right foot as pivot point while keeping weight centered over feet or shifting it slightly more toward front than back depending on how far I am able reach outward with my arms when extended straight ahead of me but not fully stretched yet; bring both hands inward through palms together so that fingers interlace forming one continuous loop around waist area roughly at hip level just below ribcage height which prevents any part of their length extending beyond end points reaching ends of shoulders or ears respectively without losing balance overall posture appearance must resemble figure-eight shape where entire upper torso moves smoothly along sides perimeter lines traced by rotating hips thus creating fluid motion effect during performance itself remains upright maintaining balance throughout duration exercise lasts long enough for viewer feel intrigued curiosity piqued wondering what next will be happening next scene unfolds visually stimulating sequence unfolding continuously changing poses showing different aspects techniques used within martial art system demonstrated here today practice sessions usually last several hours daily training regimen designed improve strength flexibility coordination endurance stamina etcetera all these factors combined make practitioner highly skilled efficient effective combatant capable handle variety situations effectively protect self others defend territory land own kind survive harsh environments maintain order peace harmony society
