一怪二圣三尸四奇五绝，唯愿红拳遍天下。2005年11月13日傍晚，在陕西省第七届红拳交流观摩赛落幕之际，来自陕西各地的73支代表队近五百名运动员，在兴平市体育健身中心切磋武艺、交流友谊。这次交流观摩赛由陕西红拳文化研究会主办、兴平市文化体育局承办，旨在传播红拳这一西北武术奇葩。

比赛项目仅限于陕西的地方拳——红拳及其器械套路，这些具有浓郁地方传统武术特色。龙腾虎跃的赛场上，不仅能看到武术馆校的少年儿童灵巧身影，还能看到鹤发童颜老拳师敏捷身姿，以及中青年武术健儿刚劲勇猛的拳脚。在这刀光剑影、拳脚如风的演武场上，你能深切感受到红拳在陕西有着多么广泛群众基础。

应邀担任仲裁委员会主任的原陕西武术队著名教练马振邦先生激动地对记者说：“看到有这么多人参加比赛，特别是这么多娃娃练传统武术，我真是非常高兴。中国武术后继有人。”大赛组委会主任、原陕西省体育局局长雷志敏说：“兴平市是第一次承办这样大规模体育赛事，尽管经验不足，但是通过上下共同努力，比赛还是比较成功的。”

陕西红拳文化研究会秘书长邵智勇先生介绍了这次比赛台前幕后，他说之所以把这次比赛放在兴平举行，是因为兴平是“炮火连天”的“文窝子”，在这里举行红牌比赛，对促进当地 武术发展和传播redpunch这一westnorthwushu奇葩，有重大的作用。

"发展traditionalwushu, transmit redpunch culture, is our purpose and mission. We hold such a competition not for profit but to develop the martial arts cultural industry. We have held seven competitions, all of which have been successful." said Mr. Shao Zhijiang.
