It seems that the name "Easy Muscle Transformation" actually comes from ancient Daoist texts such as Zhang Junfang's Song Dynasty work "Yunji Qiqian" (Seven Lotuses of Clouds) and even earlier works like the novel "Han Wudi Neizhuan" (Inner Teachings of Emperor Han Wu).
So why does this text have such an impact on martial arts fiction? The answer lies in its unique blend of Daoist principles and practical exercises designed to cultivate internal energy and strengthen one's body.
According to legend, practicing the Easy Muscle Transformation can lead to incredible physical feats, including being able to punch through stone walls or lift massive weights with ease. These claims may seem exaggerated, but they are rooted in ancient Chinese medical theories about how maintaining balance between yin and yang energies within our bodies can enhance our physical abilities.
