国奥队在克罗地亚的热身赛中遭遇了意外的逆转，Ultimately, the Chinese U22 team suffered a 1-4 defeat at the hands of NK Vukovar 1991 in a warm-up match in Croatia. The game was marked by controversy as Vukovar scored two penalties in the final 20 minutes to turn the match around.

According to reports from Sports Weekly, Croatian time on May 10th, China's U22 national Olympic team faced off against NK Vukovar 1991. Despite taking an early lead through Zhu Qianwen's goal, the Chinese side were unable to hold on and ultimately lost 1-4.

Vukovar currently sits second in the Croatian third division with an impressive record of 14 wins, 11 draws and four losses for a total of 53 points. They still have four matches remaining this season and are well positioned to secure promotion to Croatia's top flight.

The Chinese coaching staff had prepared several defensive strategies for this match, including using three or five defenders as part of a counterattacking system. However, due to their recent focus on training with a flat back four formation (4-2-3-1), they decided to stick with that approach.

In their starting lineup, Wang Jinshuai guarded goal while Zhu Yue took up right-back duties due to shortages at left-back. Liang Shouwen and Liu Haofeng formed the central defense duo while Jia Feifei and Zhu Qianwen played deeper roles as defensive midfielders. Segment Dezheng was deployed further forward alongside attacking midfielder Zhao Jianbo.

The opening exchanges saw China pushing high upfield but it was only three minutes before Zhu Qianwen opened scoring after capitalizing on some pressure from his teammates' work rate upfront.

However, disaster struck when goalkeeper Wang Jinshuai committed a foul inside his own penalty area which led to another spot kick being awarded against him.

Incredibly enough; just like what happened earlier in this report - where Wu Yifan tried out his luck by attempting an audacious overhead kick during practice session last week but ended up hitting teammate instead.
