燕青 punches, also known as Secret Track Fist, originated from the Tang Dynasty and was developed by Lu Junyi, a hero of the Song Dynasty. This fist emphasizes waist and leg techniques, with strong footwork and proper stance. It includes over 50 movements combining various hand shapes, steps, leg techniques, balance, jumping and other elements. The training methods include single-handed (Secret Track Fist), weapons (e.g., Qinglong Sword), paired practice (dui lian), hard work (iron barrel punching) and medical martial arts.
Meihua Quan is another popular style originating from Sunzi during the Spring Autumn period in Lian Shan Po's southwestern military camp. Its movements are practiced on the ground with an emphasis on practical combat techniques. Modern representatives include Feng Tianmin of Lian Shan Wu Association.
Hóngquán has four variations: Dàhóngquán created by Emperor Taizu of Song; Zhōng Hóngquán; Xiǎohóngquán; Shàng Hóngquán created by Emperor Taizong of Song.

Èrlángquan was founded by Wú Mèngxíng - one hundred eight moves divided into three sections and six parts – is a rare type with unique styles that combine statics and dynamics for effective combat use. It stresses the six principles: connecting to your opponent’s body while moving around them effectively to attack from all sides when surrounded or cornered.
