Slowly, we can think whether the upper and lower parts are following each other, slowly we can know if the internal and external are in harmony. Slowly seeking to maintain a continuous flow of divine energy.
There is no need to pay attention to turning points; the most profound secrets lie at these turning points. If one does not leave their mind there, they will be confused about the situation. Slowness lies in one's heart intention, while four limbs follow suit. The intention resides in spirit but not in breath; when it is in breath, it becomes stagnant. Breath stagnates and form disperses – this is the key.
It also requires quietness rather than urgency. One can only slow down if they are calm; otherwise, they cannot slow down. Cultivate a peaceful heart with steady breathing – practice slowly.
As the outer form moves smoothly from one position to another, it stirs up inner energy within our bodies without leaving any spot untouched by its gentle circulation. This allows our intentions and energies to align harmoniously with each other as well as with our physical forms through natural movements that listen for opportunities and make use of them according to nature's laws until reaching a state where materiality fades into oblivion.
Only when middle-energy stays central inside us do we have an all-encompassing Taiji original image on display within us.
Slow practice leads you towards genuine skillfulness; living practices hold surprising benefits. Practicing slowly itself means living practices – martial arts stem from such live training sessions.
All martial arts focus on practicing "living postures." Living postures serve both as cultivating basic skills and paving paths towards success alike for any style of punch or kick technique has its own effective set of living posture exercises designed specifically for mastering those techniques effectively through standing still or moving around freely with stable footing like solid mountains yet effortlessly flowing like ethereal clouds changing positions without hindrance between five main steps based on eight primary directions represented by eight trigrams that evolve from three lines forming patterns:
The slower your movements become during practice - known as 'living stance' - coupled with stability akin unto immovable mountains alongside fluidity evoking effortless floating amid shifting states over time leading toward balanced interplay between soft strength combined innate resilience nurtured via various contemplative states encapsulating serene composure & depthful insight derived thereby resulting overall transformational experiences involving integration & synthesis guiding spiritual growth along enduring journey ultimately transcending limitations imposed by individual ego (self) allowing manifestation of infinite potential & limitless possibilities inherent within human being essence culminating self-realization imbued wisdom encompassed cosmic consciousness reflecting divine love omnipresent reality resonating universal harmony fostering unity among all beings across realms embracing ever-evolving universe striving ever closer towards divinity embodied perfection!
