第一式起势

1.上举剑

左手抱剑,左脚横向开立与肩同宽成“开立步”,右手变剑指,两手向上平行举过头顶;然后两手下落至两大腿外侧,旋腕,两腿由屈到伸,两手再次上举,目视前方。(图1—1、1-2、1-3、1-4、1-5、1-6、1-7、1-8、1-9、1-10)

【要点】

两次举剑时要注意重心转换。

【解析】

上举剑是以剑首向上举起,此招有攻击对方下颌之意。

2.前伸剑

上动不停,两手下落至两大腿外侧;然后两legs由屈到伸,两hands 上下分开。右sword指收于right胯外侧。left hand持sabre置于left chest前。目视left hand。(图 11,12,13,14)

【要点】

two legs直立与two hands前后分开同时进行。

【解析】

front stretch sword is with sword tip pointing forward; this move has the intention of attacking the opponent.

第二式停车问路

一.丁步指劍

接以上式,一leg弯曲成"丁步"姿势。Right leg提起置于body右侧。Left leg紧随半步放低成半蹲状态。在此基础之上身体略微转体180度,以使Right shoulder朝向目标方向。

Sword held by left hand placed behind body while right sword stretched forward and up in an arc shape as if to point something out on the ground ahead.

[Key points]

Two feet moving together should be natural and smooth.

[Explanation]

Pointing sword is a gesture with middle finger and thumb extended while other fingers curled back against the base of index and little fingers respectively; this move has the intention of attacking or pointing at something.

二.虚步穿劍

Continue above movement, turn body around 180 degrees into "void step". Left hand holds sword, right hand changes to point upwards with wrist rotated so that flat side of blade faces towards body front. Right foot steps forward slightly as left foot follows half a step but keeps toes touching ground while heel lifts off it forming "void step".
