因为太极拳的力是从root发起,too much force is used from the whole body.

要做到下盘稳固、foot bottom has root, 行拳时 foot should always pay attention to have five toes grab the ground, springing well at the Yongquan acupoint, keeping center of gravity stable. Practice must be done with a solid footing, not allowing random movement; ten toes grasp the ground only thus can foot have roots.

In daily life, it's not hard to feel that like a heavy-laden car, only pushing with one's hands is unable to move it; one must use force from their feet through their waist and hands for overall strength to push the car.

Understand mechanics and understand the importance of cultivating roots.

All forces are in pairs: action on foot (action force), reaction by Earth (reaction force) - this is where power comes from. Therefore punches must be rooted firmly into Earth.

Understand too much energy routes in Tai Chi.

"The origin of power lies in feet," "the route runs through legs," "dominance lies in waist," and "shape takes form in fingers" as stated in Tai Chi theory indicates that power originates from feet, running through waist and then transmitting up via abdominal muscles or down via hip joints to upper limbs' striking points or lower limbs' striking points respectively.

(1) In feet

The first step is for feet to stamp down onto Earth before any motion occurs therefrom.

(2) Originating at legs

Legs are said because leg muscles are most developed throughout entire body.

(3) Dominance at waist

Waist serves as pivot point for entire body’s changing virtuality & reality; practice requires developing habit wherein no matter size or type of movement all begins with waist department control (as does kidney).

(4) Forming fingertips

Finally transmitting energy lastly appearing within hand section

Tai Chi theories say “its roots lie in feet.” From these spread forth legs then waists – must remain intact one breath” while most practitioners believe Tai Chi starts with hands & bodies but logically accepted yet difficult fast entry into Tai Chi door thus add emphasis on strengthening under-root martial arts training discipline

Two things need noting:

During inhale practice intention at both soles also means during punching time think about both soles wanting five toes grip ground.

Sink weight fully through two soles when punching sending full-body weight downwards into earth knee joint carries little weight knee pain disappears thus solving knee pain issue during punching time constantly observe changing between realness & emptiness beneath each sole actual toe make firm footprint empty sole stay clean achieve gradual process changeover between realness & emptiness beneath every sole

Practice good Tai Chi stance gaining kickback require notice utilization:

Key point for moving forward:

Always keep an eye on stability of heel during regular practice — whether against an opponent using various release methods — focus upon another person's heels trying break his/her root set your own middle right balance maintain dynamic equilibrium/stability utilizing proper angle changes/turning axis revolving around either heel base or ball base always clear-cut maintaining dynamic equilibrium/stability utilizing proper angle changes/turning axis revolving around either heel base or ball base always clear-cut maintaining dynamic equilibrium/stability utilizing proper angle changes/turning axis revolving around either heel base
