钟氏祖先钟琦在东汉复兴之初，王莽篡位期间辅佐光武帝刘秀平定王莽政权，立下殊勋，被封为御前侍卫大将军。后由河南迁往广东任官，钟氏家族多次担任朝廷重臣。钟琦的武艺高强，他将武功带入广东，并世代相传。在朝代更替中，一些族人因谏言犯上而遭罢职或受害，如十四世祖钟正懋被免官，其子孙后裔长期未能安宁。

十四世祖钟淑蕰生于明朝时期，但早逝于清朝时期，只有三十一岁。他英年早逝，后人只能在族谱中记载其为“英烈志士”。许多先辈都曾为国捐躯，“乡愁”一诗作为证明。

十六世祖钟徐英出生于清康熙年间，不幸早逝仅三十二岁。他为了避免家族遭灾祸，将四个弟弟带领去川，在深山密林居住，以种田维生。每个人都掌握了一门绝技。

Father:Clock Tai-gui was born in 1913 and died in 1991 at the age of 78.

He lived his life as an ironworker in deep mountain forests,

his body like iron,

his internal energy strong.

His hands were like iron pincers,

he could grab someone without hitting them,

they would kneel down begging for mercy.

He could push people away with his internal energy within twenty meters until he passed away at age seventy-eight.

I started learning martial arts from my father when I was eight years old but did not learn many weapons or fighting techniques because he said I should focus on my studies so I can have a better future instead relying on martial arts for living since there were few survivors among those who went out for war due to high skills which led me into writing career as per my father’s wish while keeping it only as hobby sport defense
